Stay with me people. I’m not licensed and I’m not some wild theologian. I’m just some fucking guy. God said that works. Lol.
He laid it out for me.
- Basics. Download Tecarta Bible app. This won’t be some wild insane crazy hard sheeeeit. Start with KJVS translation. (This is solely because of the source materials that King James comes from.) The KJVS version includes the “S.” Strongs Concordance. Languages. Hebrew and Greek. Figure out how the app functions work and look more into it.
- Start with basics. Search words. “Law” “Commandment” “Faith” “Love” “Will” “sacrifice” (there will be fancy talk “willeth” “thy” “cometh” “pertaineth” this will overtime blend. It’ll eventually just make sense.)
- Cross reference words. Sayings. Look for repeated patterns. “As the sands of the sea” “mercy not sacrifice” I have lost my edge I can’t think of others off the top of my head. I’ll get back to studying.
- Example: “Jonah 1:17 KJVS
Now the LORD had prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights.” When you look at fish in Strongs numbers. H1709 Dag it’ll tell you “fish”it you go to the extras H1672 it’ll give you Da’ag or “anxious, fear, dread…” if YOU were floating around in the middle of the sea for three days and nights after you disobeyed God, you’d be real not ok… especially considering in those days they believed demons monsters and hellspawn lived under the waters of the sea.
Studying is part of it. “Church” can’t save anyone. It works for some. “Knowledge” can’t save anyone. “Books” can’t save anyone. But fuck, it’s cool to learn. So much history.
We ARE the church. We ARE the disciples. We ARE the children of Most High God.
